The entire house and rooms are tastefully decorated. The courtyard in the middle is very cosy and full of greenery, a little oasis where you can relax and have a drink. The breakfast was exceptional. We spent two nights on Gorée and we are very pleased we did! We would definitely come back - temperatures are about 10 degrees lower than in Saly, so it is a wonderful place to ‘arrive’!

Wooden stairs lead you to the rooms on the 1st floor. The view from our room gave on to quiet typical street with bougainvilleas and the tiled roofs of the town. Veronique and François are great hosts who know everyone on the island. They ate with me, took me to the neighbour's Eid al-Fitr and made sure I had everything I could wish for. The rooms are spacious, the courtyard is a haven of peace and quiet, breakfast is great, dinner can be arranged when you ask and the internet works.
