I stayed for two days and had an incredible time. A week before my suitcase got lost and I had a lot of help from Nadia, one of the girls working at the reception. Nadia also helped me to find a good tour and to have a better experience in Zanzibar. I am super grateful to her and to Zava House for making my experience beautiful and unforgettable. Deserves a much higher rating on Booking. Lovely and welcoming staff. The owner is very responsive. Location is right in the heart of Stonetown, so it’s easy to walk everywhere, but still quiet. Large rooms and private bathroom was clean with hot water. Excellent value for money. The owner kindly arranged a very early morning taxi and checked if everything was going well. A very caring man. I would definitely stay here again. Google maps has it in the wrong place, so you need to head for the Hindu temple or Secret Garden.
