Wow, this place was fantastic. Perfect location for the sites we wanted to see and close to many restaurants. Easy to find, exceptional response time to our questions. USB plugs at the bedside and blazing fast internet. Wonderful terrace and a drying rack for our clothes. A washing machine was also on site and perfect for us to do a quick load of clothes. Everything about this stay was perfect.

We had an excellent stay at Poseidon House. The room was clean, and beautifully designed, with ample closet space, and a wonderful view. The hosts were generous, kind, and helpful. The breakfast was truly exceptional - healthy and delicious. The location was convenient to all of the sightseeing, and yet a quiet, beautiful neighborhood on the bay to come home to.

We had a fantastic time. Our hosts did their utter best to make our stay comfortable. We loved the relaxing garden and the central location. Ofcourse the room itself was also fantastic with an unbelievable view.

Bluemari is a very special place. The Gueshouse has been designed and furnished with excellent taste to a very HIGH standard. There are lovely areas for guest use including a solar heated pool with longer & seating areas, lounge etc The breakfast was absolutely fantastic; a great selection of fresh fruits, homemade muesli, cheese & cold meats, and freshly made bread. And a selection of delicious hot dishes. The Host was very charming and accommodating. And gave us excellent advice on good local restaurants, attraction etc. It scores 10 out of 10 We will be back!!

Marvelous view. Very spacious and clean apartment. Very kind and helpful hosts. Super comfortable beds and couches. Bathtub. Fast and reliable internet. Backup electricity for load shedding. Welcome snacks, fruits and wine. Very steep driveway which was quite entertaining to drive :) A word of warning though: some cars (long, or with low suspension) might have problems going up the driveway.

The apartment is quite spacious and was very tidy and clean. The location is also very good just 2min away from the supermarket, restaurants and stores. If you walk 5min you can stroll on the beach. It is also a great base to explore Cape Town and surrounding areas as there is easy access to main driveways. Our well equiped spacious room looked out onto a lovely green, hillside garden; plentiful birdsong and butterflies. We breakfasted and "sundowned" each day on a veranda directly outside our room. It was all delightful. Msrtin and Sue, the hosts, were charming, friendly and helpful in all things. We could not be more pleased we stayed at Hout Bay Hideaway and will do so again if/when we revisit the area.RobUnited Kingdom
