A suite with a spa bath and fireplace is available. The general setting. It was close to the beach and town. Rooms were very comfortable and close to living room/breakfast area. The grounds were expertly landscaped.

She made us feel welcome. She also prepares welcome cookies, red wine, fruits and breakfast was simple but nice. These may seem "little" things but are differentiators compared to any others which don't go the extra mile.

You can view the world famous penguin parade just 3 minutes' drive or 10 minutes’ walk away. We arrived late afternoon and received a warm welcome from Bernadette, the hostess, who answered all our questions about the accommodation and the island. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and spacious with an updated bathroom and a very relaxing deck. The guest house was at a perfect location as it was less than one kilometer to our evening Penguin Parade booking. We enjoyed the continental breakfast which included freshly perked coffee, bread, warm croissants, sliced cheese and meat, and fresh fruit. We highly recommend Swan Lake Guest House for anyone seeking lodging on the island.

Just 3 minutes’ walk from the beach, Phillip Island Cottages offer a private patio with garden views. Guests have access to a BBQ area surrounded by lovely gardens. Free parking is available outside each cottage. Easy walking distance to main street/shops, waterfront, etc. Comfortable accomodation with excellent facilities.
