Ana Ligia and her family welcomed us with open arms and did everything in their power to make us feel like home. The lodge is, as stated, quite rustic – so not for everyone. But for those who enjoy nature and being somewhere outside of the busy city life of Manaus, it's perfect. We especially loved the breakfast with açaí and lots of fresh fruit and the fish that Ana Ligia made for lunch. As a hostess, she also helped us when we missed our boat to get to the Refúgio and helped us as well on our way back. We really enjoyed our stay and, if we're in Manaus again, would definitely stay again!
