Set in LʼAnse-Saint-Jean, 6.5 km from Saguenay National Park, Auberge La Fjordelaise & la Rosalie offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. This 3-star inn offers a ski pass sales point. This was a true highlight of our road trip around Canada's east coast. The hotel is a hidden gem, set in a magnificent location with stunning views across the fjord and a lovely village to wander around (including one of the nicest boutiques and art shops we encountered on our trip just along the road!). The room was just as pictured and extremely comfortable, with a lovely selection of complementary toiletries. Staff were so kind and friendly, and the food was wonderful - I'd highly recommend attending for the four course dinner, which was excellent value for the quality and totally delicious. Breakfast was also brilliant! Can't recommend it enough if you're in the area - well worth the trip.

This little place was a hidden gem I am so glad to have discovered in Chicoutimi. After some unfortunate events, I found myself alone in the city without a place to sleep for the night. I was searching for a room available nearby when I came across this quaint and inexpensive advert! When I arrived, it was pretty straight forward and I was able to find my room fairly quickly. The photos do not lie; this place is absolutely adorable, clean, and incredibly well-decorated. I was so impressed by the Balcon Blanc for charging such a reasonable and fair price, for a room and private bathroom which exceeds most chain hotel standards.
