The owner was extremely accommodating, helpful and made you feel very welcome. He helped me with everything from surfboard rental to bus schedules to and from Mompiche. Only place I’ve been to in Ecuador with a mosquito net around the bed which I appreciate. Can’t beat the price and I’ll definitely be staying here again when I come back to surf the point 🤙

Fernando and Belinda made me feel so welcome and I got to have experiences in Esmeraldas that I was not able to have anywhere else. The food was incredible and I loved running on the beach right outside their property. One day I ended up running for two hours! The natural beauty of the area coupled with eating many different fruits and foods that I have never tried before made this an unforgettable experience.

Perfect for a low-key beach hostel.

We liked a lot that the hostel had some environmentally friendly rules for instance avoid using plastics or at least to separate waste. It was nice that breakfast was offered.
