Aylluwasi Guesthouse will be just available under reservation The location was perfect, close to the centre and within walking distance of cafes and restaurants and of course the Saturday market. The room was huge with lots of space and a seating area by the window which was great for relaxing. The water was super hot in the shower, ideal for a freshen up after hiking around the Laguna de Cuicocha! The communal areas were well equipped and very clean plus drinking water was provided. Alberto provided information on things to do and offered help in organising any activities. A great place and a very enjoyable stay.

At the inn, rooms are fitted with a wardrobe. The private bathroom is fitted with a shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. At El Balcon de los Reyes rooms come with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. We loved everything about the place. The view is breathtaking, and the owner and staff are the kindest people on earth. We will definitely stay there again.

Beyond the hospitality, the rooms are incredibly spacious and comfortable and if you want it, single rooms are very affordable. On top of this, Inti offers a taxi service (well known as the ‘Inti Taxi’ haha) and can bring you wherever you need! During one of my days here I took the ‘Inti Taxi’ to El Lechero and the Condor Park and Inti was able to share tons of information about these places. This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking to visit and immerse yourself in the Otavaleño culture. I also learned some Kichwa from the family as well.

The town is safe to walk I'm at night. Make sure to go to Bambu Grill. Great place to eat.

We loved the fireplace in the room and the hot water bottles they put in your bed at night. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed walking around the gardens. We also loved the dogs, especially Toby! We miss him!
