After a lifetime of travel, I can honestly say this was my most favorite place to stay!

The welcome was very pleasant and the atmosphere was very relaxed. It's a great place to rest and refuel. The evening dinner was healthy and a good power up. Breakfast was a energy boost for the whole day.

The hosts are very welcoming, the provisions have been thoroughly and generously thought out. The room is so comfortable with a view to the majestic cathedral. Loved the winding stone staircase up four floors. Opens out onto the high street which in the run up to Christmas was a vibrant uplifting place to be.Enjoyed the roasted chestnuts.
