Great location - right in the thick of the trendy Camden St with lovely pubs, bars and indie restuarants. I was suprised at how quiet my room was given that it was on the first floor overlooking the main road. Lovely building and comfy bed. Room was a touch small but I still had space to write at the desk and do my yoga! Also very easy to walk around Dublin and see all the sights on foot.
I got a nice quiet room on the 7th floor. Location in Ballsbridge is excellent, with on site parking. Breakfast as always was excellent. Short taxi ride away from the city centre.
Great value. Quiet despite great location: 5 minutes' walk from Heuston Station. 3 minutes' walk to Luas Red Line. 20 minutes' walk into city centre.
Joan and Pat were excellent hosts, welcoming, kind, attentive to every detail. They were the highlight of our trip :-) Breakfast was great, a large choice of sweet and savory food. Beechtree House is a little bit further away from the city centre but easily reachable by bus (C4); it takes about 45 minutes to get to the area of Temple Bar. It's worth noting that Joan and Pat offer a shuttle service to/from the airport (EUR 70 per room both ways) which is much cheaper than a taxi (and much more convenient than using public transport).
The location of the hostel is nice, around 15 mins walk to the city center. Although the price is super expensive for a hostel, still it can be considered a "cheap" option by Dublin standards. The staff was helpful as well. There is a nice social area on the top floor, with good kitchen and all supplies needed.
Our room looked over the Liffe and the hostel is in a great location for exploring the city centre. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. We were in a double room with en suite rather than the dorms. Lift for easy access to upper floors. Staff on desk organised a taxi for us to the airport.
Great Hostel, very. close to the city center. We stayed in a private room, which is actually quite large for Dublin standards. Essential room, good bed, everything you need since you are in the city center.
Great hostel. Really liked the sleeping capsules. Gives you enough privacy in the shared room. During night it was very quite. Facilities were clean. Close to city center.
The room was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Great location beside dart station and bus stop to go into the city centre
