The views from the cottage is breathtaking! Mountains and the waterfall ! The cottage itself is perfect for 2 adults! Well equipped kitchen with toaster, microwave and hot plates. It had a clean and spacious bathroom as well. The patio outside is perfect for morning coffee (if not too windy). 10/10 stars and a great stay on the south coast.

Beautiful waterfall just outside the door. The room was spacious, super clean with a comfortable bed. Everything was spotless and we can truly recommend this place.

Bitra Guesthouse is a 40-minute drive from Reykjavík. Thingvellir National Park and Geysir are 50 km away. Northern Lights spotting is possible during winter. Breakfast was great. The house itself was very interesting, an old woman's prison apparently.

Flat TV in our room and a small kitchen. A bit offside, but totally worth a stop after an exhausting day.

The place was really nice, bright, larger than we expected, clean and with so many facilities, very happy with the accommodaton, lovely views too. Véronique, our host, was super friendly, we had a nice chat when we arrived and the day after she went totally out of her way to warn us about a weather alert, thanks Véronique, we will be back!

A brilliant location just a 5 min drive from the black sand beach. A peaceful homely place, would stay again.
