From the moment we arrived and received our welcome drink, our hosts, Sanjay and Madhu, could not have been kinder or more thoughtful. We had rented both rooms, which are beautifully decorated with Madhu's own batik, and where everything has been carefully thought out for comfort and ease. The location is a short walk from the Buddhist Cave Temple, and is so peaceful. Breakfasts were.amazing, beautifully cooked and something different every day. Madhu and Sanjay are also happy to cook dinner for you, which we would totally recommend.

Had a wonderful stay at this resort, the room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and helped us organise stuff that we needed organising and were kind enough to let us check out late as we had an evening flight. A perfect location to explore the Lion rock-10 mins away and very easy to walk to local restaurants. We also had a big breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

The room is basic (no hot water, no AC), but that didn't matter, as we loved how it felt like we were in the middle of the jungle. Good to know: at night you can't walk around in the nature, as there are wild elephants. So if you go to the restaurants you need to take a tuk tuk back.

No where else I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka has come close to this place!!

His whole family was super welcoming and helpful. We asked to see the local area and his father drove us around the local area in his TukTuk and showed us many interesting things and views. We paid only 2000 lkr. The place has the perfect and stunning view of the Lion Rock. Nice breakfast and super tasteful dinner along with plenty of water bottles during our stay.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Owner with some delicious tea and sweets. Staff was extremely friendly. The home cooked food, dinner and breakfast was delicious and nicely prepared. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.
