At the guest house, all rooms are equipped with a wardrobe, and certain units offer a terrace, or a seating area or a kitchen. Our stay at Merlin Guest House for four nights was a real delight. It is situated at the east end of Rodrigues and was easy to find in our rental car (about 40 mins from the airport). There is a car park across the road, which meant the car was out of the way of traffic). The room was spacious with a balcony (from which, one morning, i spotted a Rodrigues Warbler) and the bed was comfortable. The real highlight of our stay was the food that was served. There is no menu and just one communal table. All the food is home cooked and excellent (we never had the same dinner twice) using fresh local produce is used (fresh caught fish for example). Eating with other guests is a great experience (even if our poor French meant for the most part we couldn't always contribute). Breakfast was hearty and again used fresh produce - it really set us up for the day! The Guest House is a few minutes from a lovely beach and, by walking a bit further you can reach secluded little bays that are stunning. Colin arranged a trip to Ile Catherine and Ile aux Coco for us and a couple of other guests, which was a real highlight of our stay. The room was very thoroughly cleaned everyday and all the staff were cheerful and friendly. All in all we could not have experienced a better stay and hopefully one day will be able to return.

The accommodation provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, matching the description and photos provided online. The location was brilliant - quiet, with beautiful views. We accessed attractions by hire car which our host, Stefan, organised. He also organised a boat trip for us. Breakfast and evening meal were provided and were delicious. The staff other than Stefan were friendly and helpful, ensuring our needs were met throughout our stay. Overall, we would definitely stay there again.

At Villa Paradise Rodrigues rooms are fitted with a seating area. Came back for the second time at Villa Paradise. Received a warm welcome from the Staff with a smile and always ready to assist me to make my stay an awesome experience! Comfort assured with air conditioned rooms, free wifi and views on the lagoon.

We stayed 10 days in La terasse. The hosts Sydney & Miana are lovely and caring. We often had dinner together and they arrange all sorts of activities for us. The food is nice and in the guesthouse is such a great atmosphere. The house has a beautiful view over the lagoon and everything is comfortable and clean. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed every second of our stay. I highly recommend to stay with Sidney & Miana in La terasse!!!
