The host helped us a lot. When we came we did not have any food with us, he lent us his scooter for free to go get some food in town. We could also store our baggage when exploring the island for a few days. Great location with a nice vibe. Would come again.

Ananda Guest house is located on the slopes of the Maderas Volcano on Ometepe Island, 19 mi from the port of Moyogalpa. Amazing apartment with a huge bed and a lot of space. It was very handy to repack our luggage. Very good breakfast for a good price. Kind staff. Great garden. Two lovely dogs and a cool cat. You need go have a off road vehicle (but imo it is very handy for the rest of ometepe as well). There is nothing we didn't like. It was super!

Beach huts are clean, comfortable and cozy. The lake is on your doorstep with views of the volcano to your right and a great sunset bar to your left. An island paradise with lovely dogs, chickens, a cat, ducks along with a friendly and helpful owner. Scooter access is 100% okay! There is a restaurant next door but if you want to go to others it’s a close 10min drive. Look no further and stay here!

Nice to have a private room for the price I've been paying for a dorm. I arrived after dark, and left at sunrise, so I didn't really have time to take advantage of the hospitality. Enjoyed the gift of bananas.

They advised me on how to get around the island and even offered to take me to the port by motorcycle so I could catch my ferry in the morning. The hostel has a nice terrasse and a very clean and well-equipped kitchen, as well as good fans in the dorm. Definitely recommend!

Very good service. Nice location close to ojo de agua. The owner was super helpful and easy to talk to. There is a small restaurant at the neighbour house which kindda charged us more than the actual price. I really recommend Bulshark hostel but dont go to the restaurant at the neighbour house.

I had no idea I had left them! They were under a sheet on the bed that I had inadvertently covered them with. After the people at the Guesthouse found my pouches and their valuable contents, they looked around for me, and the young lady from the Nena eventually ended up boarding ferry before we left and asked for me. Fortunately, she found me. I thanked her profusely and gave her a hug. I was extremely happy and grateful to have my stuff and to have adverted a semi-disaster. I owe that girl and the Guest House Nena in Moyogalpa….
