The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bed was really comfy and we both slept brilliantly from the first night we arrived. the town centre was only a short 5ish minute walk away, everything was close by but we loved the fact it was also nice and quiet as it wasn't right in the very centre.

Friendly staff communicated ahead of arrival, and met us on location. The facility was very clean and well equipped with amenities and coffee, tea, biscuits, etc. They really go the extra mile to make their guests feel welcome. The bathroom was surprisingly large with both a bath and shower.

Roderick and Nancy were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much bother lovely people.

The venue was great value, clean and comfortable. Our host was super friendly and helpful giving us good advice and ideas. Also offering to loan supplies. Was easy to catch bus into Amsterdam and saved a lot of money that way (much cheaper than accommodation in town). Purmerend itself was a lovely town too.

A lot of light in the room (one can use curtains of course) and a wonderful exit from the room directly onto the lawn in front of the house where one can sit in a chair and enjoy the sun. Friendly and helfpul hosts. Great bathroom fittings. The room is a simple but stylish design and had everything we needed during our stay. The bed is big and comfortable. Cleanliness. A dedicated room for bicycles in the house.
