The owner and the caretaker really waited for us to check in and we arrived almost midnight already. The caretaker is very accommodating and punctual (good job ate!). This recently renovated guest house is located 300 metres from Basdiot Beach and less than 1 km from Panagsama Beach. The guest house has private entrance. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time staying at Berni's. Berni and Janice (and their 5-year-old son Sebastian) are friendly, helpful and absolutely hospitable, it felt like family staying with them! The location is 800m off the bustling touristy main street of Moalboal and we like how peaceful and quiet it is. We stayed for 4 nights. We had a moped accident on our third day, and Janice's experience as a midwife/nurse was a huge blessing to us. We are so grateful to have her tend to our wounds and patch us up. Their warmth and care made our already comfortable stay even more special. We also liked their open guest kitchen with cooking utensils, fridge and free water. We bought our supplies for breakfast from the supermarket and enjoyed it on the terrace. Everything was kept clean by guests and staff members. We also used their pool, which is nice and cleaned regularly by a pool robot. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Each unit comes with a private bathroom with free toiletries, while certain rooms will provide you with a terrace and others also provide guests with sea views. At the guest house, all units have bed linen and towels. The property was very clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. All members of the staff would greet you and were willing to help. The beach in front of the property was cleaned of any trash or seaweed. Jay made the best White Russian I have ever had!

At the guest house, all units are equipped with a desk. At the guest house, each unit includes bed linen and towels. Despite our luck with the weather, Sambag Hideaway was located in a great location, 10mins away from the busy main beach. We could hangout in the bar area, with hammocks and huts, enjoying the thunderstorm. The host was also amazing, giving us local tips and suggestions for places to visit and local guides so we felt we were in safe hands. The best was her suggestion of getting a transfer from Moalboal to Oslob to see the whale sharks then getting the ferry to Panglao, something we didn't know about prior to visiting and was worth getting up at 4.30am for. Thanks for the great time, loved every minute of it

Located around 500 metres from Panagsama Beach, the inn with free WiFi is also 27 km away from Kawasan Falls. Santo Nino Church is 21 km from the inn. Location was excellent .Kristina was very helpful ready to help you all the time. Free water and coffe which is a bonus . Room and mattress was good. Value for money.

I recently stayed three nights at Astillo's Guest Houses in Cebu and it was a wonderful experience. The location is convenient, just 15 minutes by scooter from the city center, offering a peaceful retreat. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, making my stay very comfortable. The small, beautiful garden and the free coffee and water available all day were delightful touches. The staff was exceptionally helpful, and the ability to rent a scooter on-site added to the convenience. Astillo's is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a serene yet accessible stay in Cebu.

Located in Oslob, a few steps from Lagunde Beach, Melronz inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel in Oslob is located near the main road, but not directly, so that you do not hear the noise of the main road. The hotel has a beachsite, where it is possible to swim and snorkle, although many yellyfishes are floating there around. Rooms were quite spacious and the bathroom is clean and comfortable. Air Condition was new and not the typical box shaped A/C, which ist widespread used in the Philippines - that means that the aircon is silent and this is a big plus. On the rooftop it is possible to enjoy the sundowner. The host is nice and provides you with useful information. Oslob is famous for watching the Whalesharks, Tumalog Falls and maybe if you are on the way to Cebu, the Simala Shrine. I enjoyed the stay there.
