Everything was amazing, the location is perfect if you want to escape from the city and have a rest in nature. It is surrounded by beautiful mountain view, it was a privilege to drink the morning coffee in this environment. The hospitality is on a highest level, we had delicious food and drinks here, the best Kranjska klobasa in Slovenia! Definitely worth a visit, this is one of the most beautiful places I've visited so far. The accomodation is super clean and cozy, clean and in perfect shape, recently renovated. Definitely will come back 😉

Great spot to visit Slovenias beautiful nature. The owner was so nice from minute one on! He gave us awesome tips for restaurants and nature highlights. The breakfast was really good, as well as the hotel room. clean, new, modern and the view from the terrace was perfect!

Great location for cross-country skiing, great rest area, room tidy, comfortable and clean, great breakfast and food in the restaurant, and most of all extremely friendly staff. Decided to stop on the way from Italy to Latvia and was stunned by the quality and cleanliness of the apartment. I literally had to touch the glass in shower to know it is there. It was clean as new. Garni Hotel Miklič is a 3-star hotel located amidst the mountains in the town of Kranjska Gora, at the foothills of Vitranc and right next to a ski slope. Staff were extremely friendly and provided great advice on places to eat out etc. Also on arrival as they felt we were large family they provided us with an additional third bedroom for same price. I couldn't believe how nice and generous they were.

Our stay at Chalet Sofija totally exceeded our expectations (which are quite high), from the moment we arrived till the moment we had to leave. First of all, the location of the chalet is out of this world, with views that take your breath away from every angle you look, whether from the room, while enjoying a nice dip in the infinity pool or eating breakfast or dinner from the terrace. The photos do not do it justice, it is unbelievable how beautiful this place is. Secondly and not less important, the hospitality of the hosts, Pop and Aleksandra together with the Manageress Alenka was exceptional throughout our stay and they went out of their way to make us feel at home and that is how we felt during the whole of our stay there. To top it up, the food was expertly prepared and was one of the finest dining experiences we have encountered, exceeding the level of many Michelin star restaurants we have dined at. Pop’s innovative cooking presented us with amazing and delicious dishes with a twist, not only for dinner but also for breakfast. He also served us with very good Slovenian wines that went really well with the dishes served. And, if this was not enough, the room was huge, exquisitely and modernly decorated but perfectly fit with the surrounding nature and offered panoramic views over the surrounding mountains and forest, with a huge terrace from where we could enjoy this beautiful nature up close. I don’t think we will ever find an accommodation in Slovenia that comes even close to what we experienced at Chalet Sofija.
