As someone who can't sleep if it's hot, it was an absolute blessing to end up with two powerful pedestal fans in the dorm room all to myself. I slept like a baby on all 3 nights. This is the ideal place to get some rest before or after long days at the volcano and ruta de Flores. And everything worthwhile in the main town was at best a 5 minute walk away. Including the best ever pupusas ( Pupuseria La Ceiba) and coffee (Cadek cafe). But, most importantly, Luis, the host, was beyond amazing. Like all reviews before mine suggest, he goes above and beyond to ensure that you have no trouble with anything at all while you stay here. Possibly one of the kindest and nicest hosts I've ever had in my 8+ years of travels. Staying here felt like sharing the home with locals while still having personal space. I really enjoyed my time here. Would definitely stay again.

She is hard working for you and the hostel, but she always has an ear for you. She is like you Santa Ana Mum :) And her Pupusas classes ...oh my god!!! The best pupusas you will be able to find in El Salvador and around! Don't miss the Pupusa class !!!

She helped us with finding a laundry service and where to catch a bus. Apartment itself is brand new. Everything is very clean. There is even a Netflix in the room. Also details like nice soap, shampoo and conditioner. There is also clean kitchen. Definitely good value money to quality. We will come back if in Santa Ana.

The nearest airport is El Salvador International Airport, 103 km from the guest house. The hostel is in a great location. It very close to many different restaurants (amazing pupusas!!), a natural spring pool is just a 5 minute walk away, and the main town square is a 15 minute walk. The neighborhood felt safe and the hostel owner (Nelson) is a super cool chill dude. He does a free walking tour which I highly recommend to get acquainted with the area. He also has the cutest dog named Bush! It was such a treat getting to know them while staying at the hostel. The hostel kitchen is also well equipped and I also loved that you are able to do your own laundry here in the washing machine. I would definitely recommend this place!

He helped me with planning my three days in Santa Ana so well. It was so much fun to rent the motorbike and to drive around to all the interesting spots e.g. the volcano, the ruta de las flores and the lake. But how he helped me and my friend when she got seriously injured was outstanding. He was available on the phone within no time. He arranged a transport to the nearest hospital. And even the transport back to Santa Ana when my friend needed to get stitches. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
