It’s calm, clean, close to Mariposa and around 1h to get to the entrance of Yosemite valley, it worked out perfectly for the 3 nights we spent there.

Staff is great and they take care of minimum details such as cookies and glass for wine with wine oponner, so take a bottle with you and enjoy the chilli weather

This historic old-west boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Groveland, CA is a short 30-minute drive to the entrance of Yosemite National Park. Pine Mountain Lake is less than 5 minutes away. Hotel Charlotte has an in-house restaurant and bar, Charlotte's Tavern, serving lunch and dinner from 11-3 and 5-8:30. We have outdoor and balcony dining, too. Hotel Charlotte is surrounded by a variety of local eateries, shops, and coffee houses all within walking distance. I enjoyed the genuine traditional style of the hotel and rooms. Just across the road is the oldest saloon of California with a good beer and tasty food. Attentive and nice host who is always happy to help and give good tips on what to see in the area.

Groveland shops are within 5 minutes’ walk away. The owner was friendly and nice to me. Room is cozy, nice and clean shower as well.
