Very pleasant, comfortable and well-kept house, a kind of small penthouse on top of the owner's house with its own entrance and higher than the surrounding houses, giving you a lot of privacy and a panoramic view of the sea, the forests and the mountains. Magnificent sunsets and very friendly and hospitable host. Beautiful hiking trails of the Southern Coastal Trail run close to the house, branching off to almost deserted beaches. Piqeras itself is a small village with very friendly people, a nice tavern, a few small shops for basic amenities and located directly on the main road and therefore a good base for exploring southern Albania.

We (2 adults and 3 kids) stayed one week in the house in December. Even though the house is more suited for summer time, we enjoyed our stay very much. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. We had enough wood to stay warm and as the street up to the house is not suited for normal cars, we could use a SUV from the village to the house and from the house to the beach. The kids liked it a lot. The region is beautiful. The neighbors are also very nice.
