It’s right next to the train station and the city center. There are no common rooms as far as I know, so don’t expect to meet people. It’s more of a self check-in and self check-out, which was perfect for what I needed.

Don't be taken by surprise by the strange entrance, rather small, but getting in through the mexican Restaurant is OK, Hotel personnel very attentive and nice and you can reach the rooms through the restaurant. There is an elevator, good if you have heavy luggage and it's downtown Schaffhausen. I could park right in front.
