Sunset Beach House, holiday home in Agios Georgios

Providing access to a terrace with sea views, the spacious air-conditioned holiday home consists of 3 bedrooms. A flat-screen TV with streaming services is offered. The accommodation offers a fireplace.

It's a rare case when the reality is better than the photos. The living room is HUGE, the kitchen are is HUGE and the balcony is HUGE with direct view to the seaside. It's THE place to stay if you have a big company. Looks luxury with attention to detail. In the living room there's a HUGE Samsung Smart TV with browser and website access. Victoria is a great host and the communication was lovely. Highly recommend. We've been the in late October. The beach nearby is just 3 mins away (it feels like), the sand there is good. Super happy! Thanks Victoria :)

Where do I start. Comfy bed, we sometimes didn't even get up until 9. Clean linen and towels as often as required. Having a washing machine was handy. Air con was good although we didn't need it towards the end of September. Very hot water anytime of day. Close to supermarket, restaurants, bars and beach. If you needed anything Victoria and Makis was always there to help. Would I stay again, definitely.

I cannot recommend this place enough. It is absolutely an amazing villa, everything is modern and new. The view is breathtaking and it’s even better than the pictures. The pool is the cherry on top, we enjoyed it very much! The sandy beaches are very close and easy to reach them by car. We had everything that we needed and Rene and Claudia are the best hosts; our girl broke something at the electric shutters and they just took care of everything free of cost. Thank you so much! We had such a relaxing time and will definitely return to stay here!

Spectacular views from the villa are even better in person than in pictures. For our family of four the pool was a perfect size and lovely place to cool off. The villa had everything we needed, very well equipped for everything you could need and the large TV in the living area was great for relaxing in the evening or when taking a break from the sun. René is a superb host and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived.

Host were extremely friendly and accommodating and even let us drop our bags off early and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. They were very good about keeping contact and helping us. The Villa is only a 5 min walk from the beach and a really great restaurant. There are some convenience stores less than a 10 min walk away. They have an outdoor shower too which was great for rinsing off sand before going anywhere. The Villa is gorgeous and posh. Wonderful beds and showers and even a fire pit. This location is great for long stays.

Villa Tesoro, holiday home in Agios Georgios

Situated in Agios Georgios in the Ionian Islands region, Villa Tesoro has a patio and garden views. The air-conditioned accommodation is less than 1 km from Lakkiess Beach, and guests benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi.

What a find this villa turned out to be. Located next to the family-owned Anna's Supermarket, Villa Tesoro opened in 2021 and is run by daughter Dimitra. Outside, the terrace, patio and lawn areas are all fully enclosed and perfect for sun bathing in private on the two provided loungers. There is a raised, covered dining area with table and six chairs plus a built-in barbeque. There is no swimming pool but guests can use the one at the hotel directly opposite for the price of a couple of drinks. We purposely booked this villa to be close to some of the best beaches on the island, notably Chalikounas, Issos, Marathias and Gardenos so the lack of a pool didn't really bother us. Inside, all the rooms are beautifully furnished. On the ground floor there is an open plan kitchen and dining area adjoining the lounge with large, wall-mounted TV. Also downstairs is a fair-sized walk-in shower room with toilet. On the first floor there is the huge master bedroom, which runs the length of the villa, with the biggest bed I have ever seen. There is also a second double bedroom and a superbly finished walk-in shower room and toilet. Virtually everything you would want for your holiday is provided apart from booze - and you can get that from the supermarket next door. We stayed at Tesoro for nine nights and loved the place. We will definitely go back.

    Liz and Ann were really kind and helpful. The room was big and comfortable, with a large fan and kitchen utensils, some cups, glasses, kettle, small fridge with a bottle of water for free. Also a shelf with boxes of some tea, sugar and instant coffee. There was a mosquito repellent vaporizer in the room. Everything looked very clean. The area around the house was very quiet, and it was on 5-10 minutes walkable distance from the main street and the bus stop.

    It is located very close to restaurants and taverns and markets and close to good sandy beaches. It was very clean and a lot of space, the room and the balcony are very big. We had good recommendations from the hosts about the places to go and taverns to eat breakfast and dinner. We hope to return as soon as possible.

    It's a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are very clean and the beds very comfortable . It is a very peaceful and quiet hotel and the home cooked food is great value with all produce home grown or locally sourced. Kosta and Emily are fantastic hosts. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday , I highly recommend this hotel.

    The rooms were kept very clean, and the hosts couldn't do enough for you. Centrally located so it's 10 minutes’ walk to either end of the village. Saint George beach is 10 minutes’ walk with the better Issos beach a further 5~10 minutes. Several bars and restaurants within easy reach. The kitchen is fully equipped if you wish to cook for yourself. Excellent shower with loads of room. All in all, a perfect place to stay. Would recommend highly to anyone.
