Very nice houses with everything you need for a stay. There are two rooms downstairs with bunk beds (down beds are big for two people and upper bed is single). Additionaly there are two singe beds on the 1st floor. In the kitchenette you will find everyting you need for cooking. There is a small, clean living room with sofa, where you can comfortably sit with friends. Houses are really clean and cosy. WiFi works VERY WELL! There are really bad grades about wifi on booking.com, but as I enquire, now it is new and I can confirm it is fast and it is working with no problems at all. To be honest, I do not understand why the average on booking.com is so low, as there is really comfortable and clean houses. Highly recommended.

We rented 4 individual bungalows for our group of family & friends. They were rustic & lovely! Exactly what we wanted. Quiet and set away from the hotel but an easy walk to the restaurant/bar. We would definitely go back.

Besides that there was a common area with a small couch and table and a small kitchen with a dining table. We were traveling 5 people, so it was actually OK, but for more - it would be a little bit tight. There was also a great tarrace area, which we couldn't use due to the weather, but I can imagine it is great to sit there and eat outside. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much. I stayed in the guesthouse which has a couple of communal areas for cooking and sitting around. I paid 88 euro for a room. It is small and only suitable for a single person. It is well worth a stay. Room was clean and exactly as on photos. Fridge is only shared with other rooms in hallway as well as dishes (which were obviously not very clean). We forgot our bacon in fridge :( Breakfast was better than in many hotels I stayed in - really many meals to choose and all tasty. Guesthouse located about 15 minutes from Fjaðrárgljúfur and about 45 minutes from Svartifoss or Vatnajokull glacier tours.
