Carmelo was amazing. He met us by the car two mins after I called him that I was a bit lost and he came running to assist us. The house is truly a gem will definitely return and recommend it highly. My mum who is in her 80's found it extremely comfortable also. The large bottle of water and the packet of ground coffee was an appreciated gesture. Place is extremely central with a lovely wine bar next door and a great restaurant opposite. One can find all the necessities in this beautiful place and also one can feel safe as Carmelo is only a phone call away. We needed an extra key and he was extremely accommodating. I have been to Taormina many times but this place is a jewel. There is a car park a few minutes away and the owner of the garage also is extremely great. He even printed my Ryainair boarding passes!

Louisa is the perfect host, leaving us really comfortable and made us feel at home. We had a flight problem in Napoli to get to Sicily and Louisa gave us all the support we needed to the point of expecting us outside her house around 9 pm to be sure that we had made it. The house of villa britannia is something that came out of a movie and the bed was as comfortable as it could be. Our only regret is that we didn't book the other room with friends so we could have the whole house for ourselves. Louise knows everything in the city and was always available to give us the best advice. The only problem you might have staying with Louisa is to decide whether to go to the city or stay in the house. You might need 30 hours in the day to enjoy both the city and villa britannia. We will be back for sure, there's no other way to go to taormina.
