The nearest airport is Akureyri Airport, 84 km from the holiday home. This is one of the best place we stayed in during our trip in Iceland. The cabin is isolated so very calm, it is new, very clean and well equipped. It feels very homy. The owners were very nice. We totally recommend this place.

We didn't have much contact with the host, but he seemed very welcoming. The surrounding areas were beautiful, would be an ideal place to stay in the summer as well as it is a horse farm and I think they organise horseback tours. The cabin exceeded our expectations.

Nice, clean, well equipped, with a nice view and very quiet. Only comment, the heating was a bit under performing in the main bedroom on ground floor- becoming bit cold at night. The rest of the house was adequately heated.

Guests benefit from free WiFi. the cabins are in a beautiful river valley (we had not realized when booking that it’s still a bit of a drive from Myvatn, but it was worth it) and they’re very nicely equipped with everything you need, including a little kitchen (which is great, since the location is a bit remote).

Each of the Einishus Cottages comes with a heated outdoor bath and a fully-equipped kitchen. This place is wonderful. Convenient position, nice view, and an excellent hothub. The service is also nice.

Hestasport Cottages is situated by a geothermal hot pot, 1 km outside Varmahlíd village. It offers modern, self-catering accommodation with free Wi-Fi, full kitchen facilities and a patio.

The wooden cottages at Hestasport have microwaves, tea/coffee makers and fridges. Dining tables and sofas are also included. Each cottage has a private bathroom with a shower. The hotpot was amazing and very warm :) Lovely cottages as well. Good location to see aurora borealis.
