This recently renovated holiday home features a building dating back to 1967, which is 43 km from the Ballangen Museum. The accommodation features private check-in and check-out and bicycle parking for guests. There is a combo clothes washer/dryer and a drying rack, so we were able to do our laundry. This is a big plus in a country with few self-service laundromats. Though there is a laundromat in Narvik, it is only open on Thursdays, and only for a short number of hours.) The bed was comfortable. (Note that if you are two people needing separate bedrooms, you need to notify the owner about that ahead of time because otherwise you may find the other bedrooms locked.) The shower was good (steady temperature, good pressure, and well-enclosed). There was a bathmat. Parking is free and right in front of the house. The location is quiet. The owner lives close by. It is only about a 20-minute walk to restaurants. As advertised, the view is fantastic, especially the sunsets.

Easy access from road and awesome scenery with the unit facing the lake. We stayed in unit 11. Very clean with very good kitchen appliances. There's ensuite toilets in the 2 bedrooms on ground floor plus another common big toilet equipped with handicap commode. The 2nd level have more beds for a big family.
