Staff : Note that the caravan was located in a wider "caravan park" which I guess maintained by a central corporation at the site. However for these several "private units", there was no reception facility, hence we just communicated via the Booking.com App (friendly in nature). The response time was very short i.e. same day and/or within hours. Check in process was super easy - the door was left unlocked and the keys are left on the kitchen table. Facilities : Inside, everything was complete and rather new. You will have all you need to enjoy your time there. For kids, there was also small play ground at the park (we didn't go as it was cold). It has 2 set of showers and toilets (convenient for 4 of us). Hot water running great with good pressure. All top notch. Cleanliness : Clean, and I recognised there was no shortcut taken when clean every inch of the house. Comfort : Bed and the caravan's atmosphere were comfortable and cosy. Value Money : We were travelling during autumn school holiday, and comparing other options around Lake District area, this is considered reasonable. Location : Inside the park and its surrounding - quiet and peaceful. From the caravan, we could see the sheep and rolling hills. Occasionally we saw hare/ rabbits too!. Within Lake District area, although most things are at least 20min away (normal for such a big nature park and area). Hence you must need a car on your own. Others: We are family of 4. Internet was OK but not too strong. We were there exploring Lake District, hiking Cat Bells with kids and went visiting the small towns until Windemere. You will have your own parking in front of the Caravan. Since this is within a remote area, everything else are quite far (grocery stores, tank stations etc.). Hence, come prepared.

Lovely little caravan park in the countryside. The caravan has a great spot and sunny decking until late evening with a view to the coast.

The position of the caravan on the site was great. The caravan was clean, warm and comfortable. Everything required was provided apart from bed linen & towels. However we were more than happy to take our own bedding including our own pillows (personal choice). Nice decking area for outdoor entertainment.

We have stayed at this park before in a different unit, but this unit was by far the better one. Clean, comfortable and so many thoughtful bits. I.e dogs bowls, bags, kids toys, games extra blankets, pillows, towels. Basic food stuffs if needed. We so enjoyed our stay and want to thank our hosts. We hope to stay in your beautiful mobile home again.

Everything was as described, a lovely quiet town, the caravan park was right by a friendly local pub. Accommodation itself was clean, well equipped, modern and comfortable, this is pretty much all you need for your base to explore the lake district. Furthermore, you have a splendid view on the sea which is only 5 miles away from the cabin. The owner was really helpful and communicative, which is always a plus! Also, dogs were allowed with no extra charge.

Beautiful setting on a small caravan park. My son loved the play park. Lovely pub at the entrance to the caravan park and across the road. Which served gorgeous food. Very clean and comfortable. Love the fact its dog friendly. The hosts were so welcoming in their communications. Only 30 mins to Keswick. Surrounded by beautiful scenery. We'd definitely stay again.

The site is well kept, quite, friendly, great play area for children. Good view. In a nice village with a local pub. Shower and toilet for tourer's/camper vans looked clean. Small shop which i didn't venture into looked well stocked as i looked through the door when passing. If you looking for a site with entertainment and amenities this site is not for you. If you want nothing but the sound of the local wild life and to get away from it all it is. 25 mins to Keswick, 15 into Cockermouth. We would stay again.
