Set within a stunning historic rainforest and walking track, Jackson's Retreat Alpine Holiday Park offers 5-star accommodation with access to a garden and a barbecue.

The quiet holiday park features extensive views of the South Alps and Taramakau River and guests can enjoy bird watching, hiking and fishing in the surrounding area. There is an on-site waterfall and Glow Worm dells exclusive for staying guests.

The park is in a beautiful setting. The bathrooms, showers and communal kitchen/lounge area were all very clean and well-maintained. We were in a cabin that was very comfortable. The nature walk is definitely worth doing and leads to very impressive waterfall.
