Río San Juan
Las Puertas del Paraíso is a property located only 7 minutes’ drive from Playa Río San Juan Beach. The property has free Wi-Fi throughout, an outdoor pool, breakfast buffet service plus an à-la-carte restaurant. Food was really good. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast there. All were great. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. It was real quite - was nice.

Cottages and various categories of rooms offer hand-crafted furniture and decor by local artisans, a private bathroom with shower, a fan and some rooms have the option of air-conditioning. The cottages have thatched roofs and some units have the option for a kitchenette with kitchenware. I can really recommend Surfbreak B&B. Although it's a bit far from shops, restaurants and beaches where you can chill (ca. 7kms away from Cabarete and Sosua) it's a perfect place to stay if you want to have a really great surfing spot super close and you prefer quiet environment. It has all you need. The owners and Karina from the reception are very helpful and give lots of useful information and tips about the area and surfing. They provide nice breakfast (pineapple, papaya, bananas are always super fresh and soo sweet). I kept extending my stay and got a little discount which was nice. I would definitely stay there again and hope to be back someday.

Really beautifully laid out bungalows around gorgeous pool and in fantastic gardens. We were in villa Rosa - it was delightful. Dinner incredible - local ingredients and dishes with a French flair. Owners were super attentive and friendly - and provided expert support for treatment of motor scooter exhaust pipe burn. It was the perfect place to relax with the 4-generation family and their dogs, cats, donkeys and chickens.

The villa is quite beautiful, even if a bit old. The swimming pool and the garden are really good to relax in and the whole place is quiet (perfect to disconnect). The breakfast was nice, and the owner was always available to answer any question we had. The location is also good, in a walking distance to the center of the city.

Cute and cozy bungalow. Clean and modern kitchen where you can cook food, well planned floor plan and smooth user journey. Very nice garden and you can even do kayaking there! Owner and staff are super nice and helpful, highly recommended! You will enjoy a lot even you just stay in the hotel :)

The bungalow, grounds and swimming pool are clean. The bungalow and patio are spacious. They maintained good security that cared about us when we went on an excursion to La Vega. Everything in the bungalow worked as it should. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it for couples, families and solo travelers.
