Spacious brand new house with a great host. We were looking for a house that is safe for kids and this house met all our expectations. We also surprisingly liked the fact that there are 3 TVs in the house, one in each bedroom and one in living room, so when we returned from sightseeing we sent kids to watch TV into bedrooms and we had our calm time in the living room. Kitchen is very well equipped and also view from terrace is wonderful.

One-bedroom villas are well equipped with a kitchenette and balcony. All units have a cosy living area and cable TV. Free WiFi is available in all areas. I woke up in heaven, surrounded by beautiful flowers and adorable chirping of birds. It felt like living in a botanical garden, with a lot of different plants to explore. Before arriving to this quinta I had plans to travel around the island with the car and use this quinta as a base. But my plans changed when I saw how peaceful and representative of Madeira this place was, and eventually, we mostly stayed around the quinta and the village during all our vacation. We had everything here: an impressive laurel forest next to the property, lots of beautiful flowers and narrow pathways, stunning viewpoints to the ocean about 10min walk from the property, nice wine yards and a wine museum where we tasted the famous Madeira wine. There was also an amazing hiking path - Caminho da Entrosa - where we walked on the cliff linking the Arco de Sao Jorge and Sao Cristovao villages, while enjoying the most beautiful scenery in my life - the ocean, the laureal forest, and the rocky hills of Madeira. Another day, we walked down about 20min to the ocean shore. Breakfast was rich and nutritious, served at the restaurant next to the reception. There was also a small grocery store 5 minutes away with a good range of products to cook your own meal. Our villa had a very clean and well equiped kitchen.

Situated in the UNESCO biosphere reserve of Madeira, Casas de Campo do Pomar B&B - Self Check-in is surrounded by an extensive tropical garden. The north of Madeira is more humid than the rest of the island. Esp. during the rainy season humidity is high also in the apartments. The beginning of the Madeira Levada walks start 6 km from the property. The location is a good starting point if you have a car to several great hiking trails. Apartment staff was very helpful and gave us a much bigger apartment than what we originally booked. We could even borrow an umbrella against the rain. Breakfast and the whole breakfasting location was very nice and harmonic. There were also three very nice cats in the garden.

Palheiro Village - Golf, Gardens & Spa's elegant accommodation features a modern, fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with floor heating. The villas, some with a private swimming pool, have balconies with views of the Atlantic Ocean. Free WiFi is available in all apartments and villas. All apartments have everything necessary in place. We especially liked the big terrace and an amazing view. The sunset was spectacular! The customer service was great! We spent our honeymoon at Palheiro Village and would definitely come back.
