As a group of 6 people, we booked a hotel on the way to the ski resort. we didn't have high expectations because we just wanted to have dinner, spend the night and continue our journey. this hotel was an unexpected discovery of our trip. The Croatian family running the hotel was extremely attentive and hospitable. We received dinner and breakfast that exceeded all expectations. The large rooms, probably furnished by the hosts themselves, were bright, colorful and put us in a very cheerful mood. In the evening, we went to a community meeting in the hotel restaurant and were afraid that there would be no free tables for dinner, but we were offered a small hall with a large table for 6 people. The hosts are fantastic, highly recommend!

The owners/managers gave us an excellent breakfast and while language was a bit difficult sometimes, the mother (don’t know which her name was) went out of her way to engage us in conversation in spite of the fact my German is poor and her English non-existent. Her daughter was very attentive and, when I asked for a few extra towels, the house cleaner was very friendly and obliging. All-in-all, this place ended up being a very nice place to stay.
