Valerie and Stepahane were perfect hosts, helping us with all of our needs. They have a little piece of heaven with their garden and animals, and they offer breakfast and different food options. The location is excellent for many sites and attractions from the Cadre Noir horse show to chateaus to troglodyte dwellings.

The quality of the accommodation, its location and the helpfulness of the proprietors made for a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Both gites are comfortable and very well equipped. There is a great deal to see and to do in the area at any time of the year though you really need your own transport, either motor or bicycle. Some of the chateaux can be expensive to visit so look out for family tickets and ‘twin’ tickets, for example joint tickets to Angers and Azay le Rideau castles. If you are travelling with a pet the vet’s practice of Dr. Andre Mitteault is recommended.

The hosts are lovely and very good hosts. The breakfasts were fantastic with lots of homemade jams, compotes, yoghurt etc (there's an orchard next door). It's a 30 minute walk into town which is pleasant. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in the area. Very nice friendly dog who kept me company over breakfast.
