If Ti Cajou is available, do not hesitate to book it! This beautiful little cottage is situated between Grande-Terre and Basse-Terre, which makes it very convenient to see the island and go on day trips. The room is large and equipped with everything you need- a small fridge, coffee machine, microwave, hotplates. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable and you will find plenty of towels and beach towels. Near Ti Cajou there are 5 grocery stores (walking distance) and a fantastic French bakery with awesome baguettes, croissants, etc.. The room is surrounded by a beautiful garden and you will sleep to the melody of the crickets at night. There’s a big veranda with outdoor seating and a small swimming pool. There’s also space for you to park your car. To top it all off, Viviane and Robert are the sweetest, kindest hosts you will meet. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and give us some advice and tips for our holiday.

This is an old-school B&B with onsite landlord, very helpful and totally dedicated to well-being of her guests, including setting up a breakfast at the wee hours. The atmosphere is very relaxed, with many extras starting from house animals and ending with all-you-can-eat mangoes from the garden. The house itself is somewhat retro, yet spotlessly clean and not lacking anything you might possibly need. Be warned though - it´s the countryside, so expect all kinds of animals in and around the house ;-)
