Highly recommend to stay at this beautiful, cosy place in Lanquin. Maria and her family are so welcoming and they really make you feel at home. They also run a small restaurant where Olga cooks the best meals. They also helped us book transport to our next destination as well as a tour to Semuc Champey.

Very convenient spot in Lanquin. We walk 2 mins to the small market, 20 mins walk to the cacao tour, and really love the town and atmosphere here. The owners are very kind, helpful, and so professional. We really recommend this place to everyone.

The bedrooms and shared bathrooms were nice and clean. No kitchen but there is an onsite restaurant serving reasonably priced tasty food (good portions). Great value for money.

David was the greatest tour guide for Semuc Champey and the on site restaurant was very convenient. They also pick you up with their own tuktuk from the bus stop in Lanquin. Plus check in early was possible and the WiFi was very good.

The room itself was very comfortable and cool at nighttime. There was lots of space outside to relax. The restaurant offered really nice food for very reasonable prices from breakfast-dinner. Mary and her family are very welcoming and the food they prepared was great and well priced. The tour to Semuc Champey with her son David was the best!!! We were the only guests and it feels like a homestay. They have everything you need at the house; Tuktuk, restaurant, tienda, guide service and they can book your next shuttle too. Getting to Semuc Champey is easy. You just stand in the street and someone will come by in a pickup. It’s a good adventure!
