We liked the breakfast. It was a spacious room. Eka was very attentive and friendly during every encounter. The location was perfect. We booked our snorkeling tour with him and he arranged our boat ride back to Tembowong.

This spot has character! It is a dreamy location, with everything you need to get away from it all and relax. The owners and staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home. They work with passion to ensure you enjoy your stay, as well as connect with them. Lean into the experience and listen to their stories. It's island living, with just enough wifi to check in with the real world and gekos to keep you company at night... but in exchange you experience something unlike anywhere else that so many others miss out on. Be sure to snorkel lots and enjoy this magical property. We loved the views from the pool/outdoor shower, as well as lounging areas. The food is incredible!!! Such amazing cooks and always cold cocktails/beers as sunset approaches. Who know what the future holds for Gili Gede, but we feel so lucky to have momentarily glimpsed the incredible energy at Tanjungan Bukit. We leave with full hearts.

Had a quick stopover for the night on my way to bangsal harbour from down south. Was a really nice and relaxing stay, perfect to rest and chill. The room was huge! With an extra indoor sitting area, private bathroom and little kitchen with water refill plus hot water for tea. Was very clean, comfortable and quiet away from the main road. The host Halil was very warm, kind and funny and his wife seemed lovely too although I didn't speak with her much. I was able to order a nice dinner from a lovely friend or neighbour. A very relaxing stop over, I would happily stay for longer due to the warm and friendly feeling.

Mango homestay is a family run bussiness and they actually live just beside the rooms, so they are always near reach. With extraoridnarie service such as washing our salt water stained clothes without us having to ask, cooking us breakfast early in the morning, and helping us prepare and cock a fish we caugt. You can get some nice rest over here. In front of the hotel are the secret Gili’s, its a easy to book a tour with wonderful guides. The owner Helena is a great host. Wafa was amazing, super attentive to us all the time and willing to help with whatever we needed. The rooms were clean and well equipped, the location is perfect, in the center of the island within walking distance to all the main spots, and the breakfast was very good. Also the wifi was very fast, so it is also a perfect place for remote workers. He also organized us a snorkeling tour around the other gilis for a very competitive price and it was spectacular. Absolutely recommended!!!!
