I moved here from an other place and i was very happy when i arrived! The bedroom and bathroom where very clean, the shower is warm and there is a big bed. The location is also really good there is a vieuw over the rice fields and across the street is a nice restaurant. It is just a 10/15 minute walk to the rest of the restaurants. The owner was really nice as well and he even gave me a ride to the harbour when i was leaving.

I also had my first hot shower in Sumatra after 7 days which was great as not many homestays have hot water! Three lovely sisters run the homestay and have a restaurant on the other side of the road. The food is amazing, you have to try! They even showed us how to do it so we could learn about indonesian cuisine. Originally we wanted to stay for 2 nights, but ended up extending to 5 nights. They have traditional Batak houses which is a great experience. The accomondation has enough space in the garden to relax and has a great view on the lake.
