This is a very charming boutique hotel (an old Portuguese house renovated). The owner Roy and his wife manage the place very well. The room was big, calm and it has all the amenities one would need. Roy has well thought of people needs and ensures that one gets lots of water bottles, fridge space and cafe/tea sachets etc. Internet works very well. The breakfast was copious including some special dishes. Roy is also very helpful to plan your travels depending upon the time one would be spending here. He also suggest the best places to eat and have a cafe/drink and the times ones visit. He gave us many lovely tips which helped us save a lot of money for travels. One would not need a guide. The place is so well located to walk around all the major areas in Panjim. Amazing value for money.
Vivenda Rebelo

Situated in the heritage area of Campal, Vivenda Rebelo is a homestay housed in a refurbished 100-year-old Indo-Portuguese building.
Located in front of Francisco Luis Gomes Garden, the property is about 4 km from Kadamba Bus Station and 12 km from Karmali Railway Station. Dabolim Airport is about 28 km away.

The property is located in a very peaceful area but still within 25 minutes walking distance of the city centre. Deric was a great host, very welcoming and helpful and the best in 6 years travelling in India. He sent us recommendations on what to do and made sure we had everything we needed. A very good breakfast was served across the road in Soul Curry and Deric was there each morning to make sure we were well looked after. Our room was very comfortable and spacious with a private entrance. The sleeping area was on a mezzanine level with the bathroom and a small kitchen area on the ground floor. There was a lovely shaded balcony accessible from the mezzanine.

The stay is amazing. Very homely feeling, very neat & tidy, THE BEST location. After roaming the entire fontainhas area, we realized we are staying in the best spot of fontainhas. Really good, high rated eatery is just downstairs. Outa Aunty, the host, is an amazing person. She made us feel like we were at home. Check-in, check-out was made hassle-free by her. We literally modified the plans to extend our stay here, the place was that cozy. I can keep going on & on 😅 The gist is, just go for the place. You will have an amazing stay there. The most beautiful house in fontainhas is this one.

This is an old house with several rooms/small apartment with AC, fan etc. As a senior couple who had been travelling for two weeks, we enjoyed the downstairs room with an outside patio to relax and also be able to hang our washing. Breakfast is served across the road in a lovely cafe. We would highly recommend this homestay as we were made to feel so welcome.

They also kindly allowed us to keep our luggage in their living room past the check-in time, until we were ready to leave.

The room is comfortable and spacious. Having a full size fridge/freezer and kettle is great. What really makes it is the host family who are so welcoming and helpful. Full of advice and happy to help organise things. There's a very regular and cheap bus from the stop nearby straight into town and the bus station or you can take cheap taxis.

We extended our stay and arrived very late because our flight was delayed. Room was very spacious with a very comfortable bed and super clean. Deric sat with us at breakfast on our first morning and gave excellent local suggestions! Breakfast was lovely aswell, lots of variety to choose from. A lovely homestay, I would stay here again!
