Absolutely amazing stay. Hotel is located next to the ring road and out of any villages, perfect if you are hunting for auroras during the nights. Views are amazing and we even got to see the auroras from bed! Breakfast has little options but delicious and dinner on the hotel was really good too. Staff was amazing throughout our stay. Even though the hotel was fully booked, rooms were super quiet. Overall, not a negative thing to say, it was perfect!

The property has a huge lawn surroudned by trees, which looks beautifully green and also given some protection from the wind. We loved that it was close to Höfn (supermarket, restaurants) but not in the city, so it is is quiet. The room swere very nice and there is a common room (kitchen + table), as well as tables in the garden where we had breakfast. Alternatively, you can also drive to Höfn for a breakfast, but we preferred the quietness on the property for that.

Rooms were a bit smaller, but still nice and clean. When we got to the guesthouse, shared bathroom and kitchen were perfectly clean. The cleaniness of shared bathrooms depends on other guests who stay that night.
