Great hotel directly to the rainbow street and beautiful church. Seydisfjödur byitself very quite village, maybe in March because of not all opened infrastructure not completely ideal. But must be really really beautiful from spring - autumn. If you stay just a short time, take small suitcases, small stairs to first floor. But very romantic beautiful room!

I had a lovely room with a view of the waterfall. The bed was so comfy. And I was only a block from the Smyril Ferry, making it the perfect location post-departure. The woman that runs the guesthouse was lovely. The kitchen was stocked like you would find in a private home. And as others have noted, best coffee machine ever! It's just a few minutes from the city but also in the middle of nature. It is amazing place to stay and relax in private hot tub. The cottage is clean and fully equipped with everything you need including a minibar. And the host is lovely and extremely helpful person. It was really great place to stay with great host.
