I like this place very much. Chiara is like the best host I have ever met. Upon my arrival, she just showed everything I need to know:the sightseeings, the restaurant and even taught me what kind of local food I should try in Mantova. After a house tour I was offered a very spacious room, extremely clean and modern but still with those old frescoes on the frieze. That is one of my favorite part. The building dates back to 16th century with the original frescos my the studio of Giuliano Romano. It is so very beautiful. And I do like Chiara very much, we met and chatted on my way to the train station on the day of checking out. The next time I will definitely stay here again and bring my family with me. Thank you Chiara for everything! I will give 100 out of 10.

I have never written a review before but our stay at Casa Margarita was very special. Barbara communicated with us before our, arrival and worked with us about where to park and gave us info on how to navigate the city..Our room was very spacious. the location was right in the center. Breakfast included ham, cheese, yogurt, croissants and more. . Barbara was warm and gracious, just a lovely host. Mantova is a wonderful city, definitely worth seeing. Stay at Casa Margarita you will not be disappointed.

The receptionist who welcomed us in the evening was super nice, she showed us around the hotel, the back entrance and our room. So glad we ran into her. I’m sad I didn’t get her name because she definitely deserves a raise for that nice welcome! We got a really big room.
A Casa Dei Gonzaga

A Casa dei Gonzaga is a wonderfully restored 18th-century villa located conveniently near to the train and bus stations and just a 10-minute walk into Mantua town centre.
All of Mantua's tourist sights including the Duomo and the Palazzo del Té are easily reachable on foot and the hotel is also very close to the famous artificial lakes which surround the city, where you can go for a pleasant walk, a cycle ride or take a boat trip.

The room was spacious, with beautiful inlaid wood floors and large windows facing the courtyard, so also quite quiet. The hotel is steps from the train station, so very conveniently located for arrival and departure while a broad quiet street accessed from the entrance opposite the station takes you on a 10-15 minute walk to centro storico with its many monuments, shops and restaurants. I did not have the time to eat at the hotel, however the coffee bar off the lobby offered a handy espresso. Well worth a visit!

Great host who waited for us with the keys and gave all the necessary tips, excellent contact. Great location - quiet, opposite a large parking lot and a short walk to the center. The apartment is super clean. The kitchen was well-equipped and we had various drinks and sweets at our disposal, which was a nice surprise. We regret that we were there only one night, but if we ever come to this city, we will definitely choose this place

Palazzo Arrivabene is an absolutely beautiful place to stay in one of our favourite Italian cities. Parking is nearby if you cannot get a place outside on the street and within minutes you can walk into the centre of Mantua. You could not ask for more lovely hosts.
