We were cared for from the second we stepped out of the taxi, taken thru the small winding streets and the Moroccan life in all the little shops and ally ways. We stepped into the most beautiful rooms at the Riad I’ve ever seen couches and pillows in every nook, so easy to relax and enjoy all the exquisite carvings, woodwork, beautiful furnishings. Just amazing! Rooms were cozy and so pretty, huge step down shower and lots of tables for belongings We didn’t want to leave. They had the best breakfast and variety of our whole time in Morocco. Their staff was so kind, sweet, and helpful

This was a last minute booking for me as I did not initially plan to travel to Fes but was pleasantly surprised that the peppery feels more like a boutique hotel than a hostal, however, my opinion is based on a private room booking. I met other guests that stayed in a dormitory and they were also happy. The staff was pleasant and extremely helpful, including help with last minute tour bookings. The private room where I stayed is in a separate courtyard from the dorms so it was always quiet and calm. I booked two additional nights after arrival as I was very pleased with the private room.

It's very clean and gets cleaned throughout the day. the common areas are wonderful to just chill and work. internet connection was very good and many routers everywhere. the location is great, it's in the medina but very close to the road where you can grab a taxi. staff was incredibly polite and helpful. hot water is very hot. the terrace is very nice too

Mustafa was really helpful from the beginning to ensure the check in process was smooth. He checked on me to see if I was on the train, helped with communicating with the taxi driver, and waited for me at the pick up point so I didn't have to worry about getting lost! He welcomed me into his family home and said I am a guest, not a customer, and he wants me to feel at home and comfortable. He was very responsive to any questions and we had a great chat on the terrace on the last evening before I left (also made me some mint tea)! He really puts his heart into this place and is incredibly humble in asking for feedback and ways to improve! Both himself and Hanna would check to see if I need anything, feel comfortable, and if the breakfast was good or not. You really feel well looked after and very comfortable ☺️ Thank you Mustafa and Hanna!

Breakfast is divine, all set out in small tagine pots, lovely variety of Moroccan crepes and croissants with yoghurts, fresh baguettes and preserves served with mint tea and coffee. The room was lovely with a beautiful rooftop terrace. The location is fab for the local souks, a 15 - 20 minute enjoyable walk to a variety of cafes and restaurants, (there are some nearer), the tannery, locals weaving fabrics & rugs, making beautiful lanterns, so much to see and so close by.
