You get lot more than a hotel room, with mini-fridge and cutleries for the occasional snack in the room. Cute shared little garden for a morning coffee. Host was extremely accommodating and they helped out with any request I had. Reliable internet connection for Mauritius, it helped me go through hours long video conference calls. Parking is a few minutes down the road in a secured area. You’ll need to communicate and plan check-in / checkout, which is typical for individually owned properties. Overall this is great value for your money.
