seaview, vibes, beach with a lot of seashells, kampung vibe, awesome host, cute fluffy orange cat that appeared just after check-out, chilled host that gave me the best room with seaview. in the morning, the sea tide even went below the chalet which was awesome. chilling at night at the pantry/next chalet while enjoying the sound of the sea and inhaling the sea air. just awesome!

I'm very happy I had the chance to stay here; in addition to the breakfast, for an additional 15MR per meal, I get large portions of good food, and the hosting family is very nice. It's a fishing village, so not sure you can get vegetarian options :) The beach is right behind the house, and snorkeling is good. The room is spaceous, and the internet is excellent. They are friends with a place a few minutes walk from here, and I've hung out there from time to time. If you want to shop, need to go to Kudat, which is around 20min by motorized vehicle.

The accommodation is simple, but for the price it's great. The host, Jair, is incredibly helpful and can arrange for meals cooked in the homestay for 15rm each.

He also helped us to arrange transport to Kinabalu park and he also solved our issue with next hop accommodation we had. We moved from West Borneo to the East and this has to be the best stay in Borneo. A bit far from the city but that's what makes this place special. You can go for a swim or snorkel just 50m away from the guest house. If you are a guest travelling to Kudat, please maintain the cleanliness and the safety of aquatic life. The locals are working hard to preserve the same.
