City View is a simple yet wonderful guest house set in the delightful hill station of Tansen. The owner, Man Mohan and his family are charming, warm hearted and welcoming. The rooms are basic, clean and practical, with solar hot water and lovely views from the top floor. Only wish I could stay longer. Top of my list for when I return to Nepal. Highly recommend for the budget conscious traveler.

We were given two adjacent rooms upstairs with fantastic views. The rooms were simple but comfortable (except for the hard mattresses, which seem to be a constant in Nepal), and good wifi.

This homestay is held by a lovely family who do their best to improve their community by promoting ecological tourism in their area as well as educating them. We received a very warm welcome from the host family and were well looked after. The freshly cooked food was very tasty and the view of Tansen from the terrace was simply incredible.
