I have no words for this beautiful place. It is a beachfront paradise with the most friendly staff. The place is back to basics with all the necessary luxuries like a restaurant with great tasting affordable food, free water and coffee, a cute private open-air bathroom but also a communal bathroom, a lovely beach, located in the middle of a local village with local mini 'supermarkets'. The staff treat you like friends and family. We had such a great time here and totally relaxed. You can't miss this place if you visit El Nido!

i liked everything. the staff was the nicest people i ve ever met. the beach is literally 3 m away. most delicious veggie curry i have ever ate. the owner asked if everything was okay every night making sure our staying is the best. we even got a famous filipino fruit salad from the wife what she made herself. room and bathroom was clean and theres an out door shower so you dont have to go in your room sandy after swimming. there were books to read, cards to play, free drinking water. the wifi is not the best due to lack of signal in the Philippines overall but this only gave us more time to connect, to relax and to enjoy the sea. literally the best place i ve ever stayed. relaxing and quiet.

we was upgraded from Honeymoon suite to Master Bedroom, that was wonderful as the Honeymoon suites location was not so good as the Masterbed room, the Masterbed room, was located strait infront of the beach with nice private balcony, so you could really smell and hear the ocean at the bay, beautiful full view of the boats, the islands and mountains a really joy for the eye and soul. the staff was the kindest most thoughtful and helpful persons i ever met. we extended our stay with one more night. the two last days there was rain so dining breakfast outdoor wasent possible and staff by them self came to room with breakfast, and breakfast was well made everyday and different everyday. during last nights electricity "brown-out" they came with a battery driven fan, as aircon was out too, really a good rememberable stay, and POPS DISTRICT is small cozy with good restaurants.

It's a bit away from the town, so you get to enjoy some piece of quiet during your stay. Only the sound from the ocean. Christina and Gordon are very nice couple, always being helpful. Their breakfast is cheap with enough of portion, my husband really love banana pancake. Room and toilet is small, but with a nice balcony that you can sit and relax.

The AC is good and runs all day which is really nice (besides one night where one girl in an 8-bed dorm asked to turn the AC off completely which the staff did, so the rest of us woke up at 2am in pools of sweat and mosquitoes everywhere). Overall I would recommend if the other good hostels are full but know it’s very basic.

First of all, Bucana is a very nice village, the beach is beautiful and atmospheric. It is pretty far away from El Nido (about a 50-minute ride by tricycle, 700-1100 PHP), but it is great if you want to experience an authentic experience with fewer tourists and more locals. The staff of Bucana Beach Camp is very nice and breakfast is delicious. The view from the room is beautiful.
