Host was so accommodating and congenial- we enjoyed our conversations and his research to answer our questions. He had a parting gesture that was an extra positive touch with a complimentary coffe/tea service. The rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. Fireplace in communal living room added a cosy ambiance on a damp day. So many likes about this stay- they thought of everything.

Breakfast was delightful from fresh buns, croissants, different type of breads, cold cuts and cheeses, fresh fruit and veggie platters, muesli and yoghurts plus homemade jams and cake. Kitchen was available for self surf for coffee and tea at any time. Location is within walking distance to town where you will find several restaurants at different price ranges. We left our car during our stay and took the boat to Melk and the bus to Krems. Will certainly recommend the Gaestezimmer Rolea to my friends.

Wonderful breakfast, great location, 5 min walk downhill from Durnstein‘s main road. The room and en-suite bathroom was clean, there was a locked bike room.
