All accommodation features a patio offering panoramic mountain and vineyard views. Marie and Mark went out of their way to make our holiday fabulous. Breakfast was excellent. Location is quiet with amazing views.

Set on 25 acres, in the heart of wine country, Red Door Collective - RDC Vineyard Estate enjoys breathtaking views of the Brokenback Ranges and is home to one of the smallest commercial vineyards in the Hunter Valley. Everything...stewart and evelyn were the perfect hosts who think of everything to make your stay enjoyable and are so friendly.. the cabernet suite was beautiful ...tastefuly decorated....bed was so comfy...the surroundings ...views were wonderful. .. so peaceful ...i loved sitting in the little lavender garden....and the kangaroo family that visited ....evelyn is a great cook...her meals so delicious...their wines are the best..... this was our third stay and we will definately be returning .....i highly recomend this place .. ...its a jewel in the hunter.

The property is non-smoking and is located 49 km from Hunter Medical Research Institute. the property was lovely very clean and had everything we needed and Greta location cafe super close as well as shops

Situated in Wollombi, in a historic building, 40 km from Hunter Valley Gardens, Capers Cottage and Barn Accommodation is a guest house with a garden and terrace. This guest house offers accommodation with a balcony. The guest house features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. The historic village of Wollombi was very scenic, we didn't have time to explore it as we were there for our daughter's wedding at a nearby retreat. We were warmly greeted by our host Jane, who took us on a tour of the main house which was a magnificent example of an early colonial mansion, very historic in origin. The Capers Guesthouse had a choice of three separate buildings for a stay, we had the Barn which was a real highlight as it was literally a slab barn with beautiful interior, so rustic but comfortable. The furniture inside was a collection of antiques which reflected the heritage atmosphere of the Barn and town. All modern facilities for cooking, the supplied breakfast had a choice of cereals or full cooked breakfast. The ingredients supplied were the best quality, tomatoes, huge mushrooms, eggs and the best sausages and bacon I've tasted in a long time. The bed was a huge king size, very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and supplied by fresh rainwater from tanks. We want to try the other buildings for a stay in the future and have the pleasure of a historic building stay.

The property's Cellar Door is open daily from 10:00-17:00 where you can enjoy a relaxed tasting of boutique wines, handpicked from McCaffrey's Estate vineyard. There are also chickens and ducks onsite, providing fresh eggs for guests as well as plenty of kangaroos to watch in the vineyard. Location was central to the local wineries and restaurants. Hosts we very friendly and approachable. The pool was amazing. It was great to see the kangaroos in amongst the vines in the morning. The breakfast and wine provided were excellent. The accommodation was really well equipped, homely and the beds were super comfortable.
