Deb is a wonderful host, with lots of useful local information. A great base for exploring this corner of Tasmania.

Penguin Seaside Homestay is situated 300 metres from Penguin and its lovely beach. It offers 160 degree views of the ocean and township. The property is a 5-minute walk to the beach and shops.

Penguin Seaside Homestay is 35 km from Devonport where the Spirit of Tasmania berths. Homey little place to stay with wonderful hosts and great views! The added puppy love was a delightful bonus! Wayne and Sue are great and welcoming host and serve a delicious breakfast! Slept like a baby and felt very welcomed in their home! Thanks again Wayne and Sue! It was a pleasure to 😊 Fantastic view from the room. Watched sunrise from my bed!

All rooms have a private bathroom and toilet, and some give access to a spa bath. All rooms provide free WiFi, a flat-screen TV, bathrobes and slippers. All units provide access to tables, seating and places to relax and enjoy an ocean view. Nice spacious room, clean and comfortable with a nice view. Ting, the owner very friendly and helpful, even insisted on carrying our suitcases up the stairs, and back down when we left. Continental breakfast was delivered to our room at agreed time, some tasty fresh pastries included.

Richmond Barracks offers 3 self-contained cottages, located in a private garden setting, in the village of Richmond.

Complimentary WiFi and secure off-street parking is available to all guests staying at the Richmond Barracks. All cottages contain heating/air-conditioning, a flat screen TV, DVD player, electric blankets and a fully-equipped kitchenette. The room is compact but perfectly adequate for two people. The winners here were the extra, thoughtful little touches that set this accommodation apart from most we have stayed in. Equally, no bargain priced appliances or fittings were to be found, only good quality throughout. Scrupulously clean and tidy, Just two minutes walk to the main street, it would be hard to find fault with Richmond Barracks (We were in "The Cellar" room - lovely!).

Set on a peaceful 107 acres in Ellendale, Sassafras Springs offers an outdoor dining area with BBQ facilities and a children's playground. All cottages feature a wood-fired heater and cooking facilities. Guests can enjoy free WiFi in public areas. Such a beautiful house, so homely with fantastic surroundings. Lovely, well maintained walks with the bonus of Australian wildlife. A wonderful garden and orchard and fresh eggs from the hens. Sad to leave this piece of Paradise.

Self contained apartments include kitchen, separate living areas. The host Michael & Roberto are wonderful. Very communicative and willing to go that extra mile to make your stay pleasurable and "like home". I was so impressed I extended my stay for another 5 nights rather than relo to Hobart as I had originally planned. Don't skip the homemade hot breakfast (eggs are straight from the hens in the garden out back and they are wonderful...so different from store bought US grocery eggs) and there is a Continental option as well. Very clean, very comfortable beds and luxury bedding. Overall an excellent choice for a stay that will not dissapoint,

With mountain views, this accommodation offers a patio. The property is non-smoking and is set 48 km from Theatre Royal. Very large, clean unit. Very welcoming and helpful host. Very comfortable.
