A very nice and charming small b2b perfectly located near great hiking routes. The breakfast was amazing, well suited to start a full day of hiking. We also got good recommendations for the restaurants nearby. We will gladly come back when visiting Schwarzwald. The pansion is on the main road in the village, but not noisy at all. In addition, the beds were very comfy and firm, the water pressure strong and it was overall very clean. 5 stars.

Haus Gerlinde is situated in Zell am Harmersbach, just 36 km from Strassburg. It features a spacious sun terrace where guests can relax, drink a glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful view of the mountains in the Black Forest region. The breakfast was delicious, varied, & more than enough. Frau Dold even offered to wrap up my leftover Brötchen & other items so I could take them with me. The room I stayed in was clean, quiet, & comfortable. For anyone not used to staying in a room with a shared bath, you would be more than satisfied with the set-up at Haus Gerlinde as the separate shower and separate toilet are so close to the guest bedrooms all located on one lower hallway. Mr. & Mrs. Dold are very gracious hosts & simply delightful people!

My boyfriend and I went there for a brief vacation and we fell in love with the place. the house is beautiful for starters, quiet, surrounded by woods and nature. The rooms are incredibly detailed with decorations and you can find everything you need. Honestly, we were amazed. The host were super nice and welcoming not to mention the sweet house cat. if you need nature, quiet and pure relax this is the for you. Highly recommended!
