The kitchen was equipped with everything you need to prepare food. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The check-in process was easy, with entry codes having been sent through to us prior to our arrival. The location was good, just a short walk into the city. The other people we shared the flat with at the time of our stay were lovely, which made sharing the common areas a pleasure.

The property is set 17 km from Sidra Museum, 32 km from Museo del Jurásico de Asturias and 38 km from La Cueva de Tito Bustillo. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Absolutely adored the location. If you are looking for rural bliss, don't look any further. The hosts are really friendly - I did not speak much Spanish, but with google translate and some good will from both sides, this became one of my most memorable stays ever!

Featuring mountain and quiet street views, this homestay also has free WiFi. The homestay features family rooms. Very clean room and bathroom, high quality bed and pillows. Anything you can want from an upscale hotel, just fraction of the cost. Very silent neighbourhood and 2 min wall to train station. Thank you Alberto!

Featuring city views, PENSION OVIEDO is set in the City Centre district of Oviedo, 60 metres from Oviedo Railway Station and 800 metres from State Tax Administration Agency. It is situated 1 km from Plaza de la Constitución and features a lift. The property is less than 1 km from Plaza de España, and within 1.1 km of the city centre. Great location near bus and train stations as well as a quick walk to all the sights of the city. Clean. Quiet (I chose an inside room). Everything I needed. Comfy bed. And I appreciated the small desk in the room as well. Delightful hostess. Will definitely stay again.

Boasting a housekeeping service, this property also provides guests with a family-friendly restaurant. The guest house has family rooms. Excellent comfortable room/suite(101) in this small boutique hotel. Spotless and serviced daily. Continental breakfast provided in the room ( fresh sliced bread on your door every morning) topped up as needed. Great location near lots of bars and restaurants. We hope to be able to book here on our next visit to Mieres. 10/10

This is the most fabulous apartments operated by Tésera, who is one of the kindest hosts you will meet on the Camino. Spotlessly clean. Can’t recommend enough.

Offering a shared lounge and river view, Pensión Casaño is situated in Arenas de Cabrales, 45 km from The Lakes of Covadonga and 6.9 km from Cares Trail. Each accommodation at the 2-star guest house has mountain views, and guests can enjoy access to a terrace and to barbecue facilities. The guest house has family rooms. Our hostess Gelé was very personable and warm. Very little English-speaking was done in Arenas de cabrales and it was the same at the pension. But we wanted for nothing. The community kitchen allows you to keep a low food budget in a well stocked space. I shared a picture of the community space. Rooms on the river side allowed us to listen to the river and it was the best night of sleep our entire trip. I shared a photo from our window.

Extras include bed linen. This hotel is perfect in every way . . . . Every detail is taken care of, so that the guests are comfortable! Our room was lovely, and breakfast was plentiful. I especially liked the location and the garden with lovely views of the mountains. The spacious kitchen was really useful too, and there's a living room one can use. I highly recommend this hotel!

Heated rooms and apartments comes with a flat-screen TV, balcony and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Apartments also have a kitchenette with a dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. Free WiFi is available in public areas. A great option for all peregrinos and a nice change from albergues or a refreshing alternative to hotels or pensions. I am traveling solo but my room could have fit four. I had an entire apartment. The owner was fabulous and prepared a massive breakfast for only me. And early at that! She is very proud of her town and will give you a great history (in Spanish - but she talks slow). She even drove me back to the Camino because the location is a little out of town. Highly recommend - a place to appreciate Spain and escape the Camino bubble…
